Many Seattle Parks and Recreation facilities will close Friday, July 4, for Independence Day or will be on special holiday schedules.
These facilities and services are closed:
•Environmental learning centers;
•Indoor swimming pools;
•Amy Yee Tennis Center (2000 Martin Luther King Jr. Way S.); and
•Green Lake Small Craft Center (5900 W. Green Lake Way N.).
These facilities are open on regular schedules:
•Wading pools (Bitter Lake, Cal Anderson, Green Lake, Magnuson Park, Van Asselt, Volunteer and Wallingford).
These facilities are open on special schedules:
•Volunteer Park Conservatory, open 10 a.m.-3 p.m.; and
•Mounger Pool (2535 32nd Ave. W.), on special holiday schedule (www.seattle.gov/parks/aquatics/Pools/mounger/schedule.htm)
