Queen Anne Chamber of Commerce
Things in the works: Still looking for donations for the tree lights lining up and down the Ave. The businesses need to absorb the cost, and it is a big chunk of their budget. There is still time to donate. Contact or stop by HomeStreet Bank (1835 Queen Anne Ave. N.) and just let them know it is for the Holiday Magic Tree Lighting. (A special thank you to Umpqua Bank, Smilebox, Homestreet Bank and Connor Haffey for the donations and volunteer hours spent.)
The membership drive for the Queen Anne Chamber of Commerce started Monday, Jan. 13. We welcome all of the Queen Anne business community to join. For information email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We want to bid a sad farewell when Charley + May closes its door on Jan. 31. Thank you to owner Lauren Formicola for all her tireless work as a vital part of the Upper Queen Anne businesses. Lauren served on the Queen Anne Chamber as president in 2012 and was on the board of directors a year prior to that. I was privileged to have worked with Lauren.
I’m sure I’m joined by all the merchants and families on Upper Queen Anne in saying, “Thank you, Lauren, for all you have done!”
