The city’s Office of Sustainability & Environment (OSE) will present the first of a quarterly forum series focused on climate action work in Seattle on Tuesday, Feb. 25.

Moderated by OSE director Jill Simmons, these forums are an opportunity for residents and grassroots sustainability organizations to meet with city staff and leadership for in-depth conversations on the Climate Action Plan progress and other city- or community-led environmental initiatives.

At the Tuesday forum, Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) director Ray Hoffman will share SPU’s Climate Action priorities and activities for 2014 and beyond. Seattle City Councilmembers Mike O’Brien and Sally Bagshaw will also participate in the dialogue.

The free Community Climate Forum will take place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Seattle City Hall (600 Fourth Ave.).
