Design reviews

2900 THIRD AVE. W. (3013191) of a Land Use Application to allow a three-story, 124-unit, assisted-living facility (Aegis Living) with common areas, activity rooms and support facilities. Parking for 47 vehicles will be provided below-grade. Existing structures to be demolished. Pending LBA 3014356.

The meeting will take place Wednesday, Jan. 22, at 6:30 p.m. at the Queen Anne Community Center (1901 First Ave. W.), in Room 3.

The DPD director will accept written comments to assist in the preparation of the early design guidance through Wednesday, Jan. 22. Comments regarding important site planning and design issues that should be addressed in the design for this project are welcome.

Comments and requests to be made party of record should be submitted to PRC@seattle.gov or City of Seattle – DPD – PRC, 700 Fifth Ave., Suite 2000, P.O. Box 34019, Seattle, WA 98124-4019.

This second stage of Design Review is the Recommendation phase. At the Design Review Board Recommendation meeting:

•The applicant will present information about the proposed design and how
 it responds to the Design Review Guideline priorities established at the previous
 Early Design Guidance meeting(s).

•The public may offer comments regarding the proposed design.

•The Design Review Board will offer their recommendations regarding the design to DPD.

•Following the meeting, DPD will issue a written Recommendation report summarizing
 the meeting. This report will be sent to those who signed in at the meeting or
 otherwise requested a copy.

Following the public comment period, the DPD will issue a written design guidance report. This report will consider public comment and the applicable citywide and neighborhood specific Design Guidelines and will serve as the basis for further review of the building permit. Once the applicant has incorporated the design guidance into the proposal they may apply for a building permit. No public notice of the building permit application will be provided.
