Carolyn Conn, the manager of Magnolia Ace Hardware Co., is appearing in the King’s Players’ presentation of the musical “Annie” at the Shorecrest Performing Arts Center (15343 25th Ave. N.E.) in Shoreline on Friday, March 8, though Sunday, March 10.

Conn’s daughter, Darian, 11, is also cast in the production, as the lead. Darian previously appeared as Woodstock in a production of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” last year and was cast as Pepper in a previous production of “Annie.”

She is scheduled to go into rehearsals for a production of “The Secret Garden” in the leading role of Mary the week following “Annie.”

Darian’s grandfather, Robert K. Wilson, owner of Magnolia Ace Hardware, has a walk-on role as Santa at the end of “Annie.” It is his first appearance on stage in 64 years.

Show times are 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday. For ticket information, go to www.kingsplayerstheater.org/annie.html.
