Queen Anne’s Noah J. Rose is playing the role of young Sammy in Book-It Repertory Theatre’s production of “The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay,” which runs through July 13.

Rose began performing at age 6 at Coe Elementary School, first with its opera program and then musical-theater productions. He has since performed in “Oliver!” “La Boheme” and “Tosca” at The Moore Theater with Lyric Opera Nothwest. He was last on stage at Seattle Public Theater in “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever,” directed by Shana Bestock.

Rose also worked with Seattle’s improvisation master Matt Smith in the feature film “My Last Year with the Nuns” and recently completed filming an anti-bullying video directed by George Gullian.

Rose, 14, is currently a student at Seattle Academy of Arts and Sciences.
