The “12th Librarian” will make some noise when Central Library (1000 Fourth Ave.) broadcasts the NFC Championship game between the Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19, in the Microsoft Auditorium.
There is no admission. Doors open for seating at 2:30 p.m.; seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The auditorium can accommodate about 275 people.
If the game runs past 6 p.m. (Central Library’s closing time), people in the auditorium will be allowed to stay until the game concludes. The rest of the library will close at 6 p.m.
The library will provide football-shaped cookies and free Seahawk promotional items (limited number of items available). Library staff members will be encouraged to wear their Seahawks jerseys.
The Central Library hosted a full house for last Saturday’s (Jan. 11) playoff game against the New Orleans Saints.
