With teen depression and suicides so common in the news, Seattle Pacific University (SPU) will host a "community conversation" about adolescent depression, substance abuse, warning signs and recovery. The free event will take place Saturday, Oct. 12 from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at the Upper Gwinn Commons at SPU (3307 3rd Ave W).
The event is sponsored by SPU's School of Psychology, Family and Community. Experts from the child psychology field will host 30 - 45 minute presentations with time for questions.
